Qualifications/Job Description
At KIPP, Knowledge Is Power Program, we believe in the empowerment of the next generation. This is why KIPP has been producing world changing, college bound students for 15 years. KIPP was founded in Houston in 1994 to prepare students with the academic and intellectual skills, knowledge, habits, and character traits necessary to succeed at all levels of Pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, college, and the competitive world beyond. KIPP has grown into a nationwide network of free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public schools with a track record of preparing students in underserved communities. As we continue to achieve results in our growing network of schools, KIPP is redefining the notion of what is possible in public education. We are committed to sharing all that we learn in an effort to inspire other communities to consider the approach that has made KIPP schools and their KIPPsters successful.
