PRECONFERENCE
The ABCs of Budgets for SSA Directors: Ask, Build, Check

Participants will learn the right questions to ask in order to begin the budgeting process, how to use the answers to those questions to build the budget, and how to systematically check the status of the budget throughout the year.  Tools and tips will be included to equip SSA Directors to feel more confident in their budgeting and financial skills.  This will be an interactive session to focus on managing budgets in an SSA; however, the session will also include tabletop discussions about “hot topics” faced by SSA Directors across the state.  There will be time to network with peers and share your experiences with your colleagues.  First year directors and experienced SSA leaders will benefit from the topics and the discussions aimed exclusively at issues Shared Service Arrangements encounter.
