How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love PWN

Legal Requirements Surrounding Prior Written Notice
Thursday, May 11, 2017, 12 pm CST

In this session, the legal requirements surrounding Prior Written Notice (PWN) will be identified, with emphasis on a practical approach to preparing this critically important document. Participants will learn why PWN is legally significant and will distinguish PWN from meeting invitations, deliberations, and other documentation. When implemented in your district, outcomes may include improved decision-making, less contentious ARD committee meetings, more defensible documentation, and a general sense of euphoria.
